How did Shiloh’s Place help me and my kids?
When I first got introduced to Shiloh’s Place, I was scared I wouldn’t get in or I wouldn’t fit in with the other girls, but when I got to Shiloh’s Place the director and house mother welcomed me and my kids with open arms. At the time I was thirty weeks pregnant and also had a three-year-old in the midst of being homeless. Shiloh’s Place provided love and also provided things I needed for my kids. Shiloh’s Place saved me, yes, I said saved me. Being here helped me a lot emotionally, spiritually, and most of all mentally. Would I recommend Shiloh’s Place to young mothers? The answer is yes. I believe God sent me there because Shiloh’s Place felt like a home. The love they show you is amazing. To have someone to love you and your children like family is the best, especially through hard times. I just want to say to Shiloh’s Place, Thank you.
